Central Bank of India won a close fight against Bharat CC in the three-day Reliance Foundation Major Tournament at Motera C. Batting first the bankers posted a decent 251 in 15 overs. Rishi Ahuja fell short of a magnificent century by two runs as he had scored 98 of 232 balls and was well supported by Rushi Panchal who scored 48 of 120 balls. Dharam Chandora was the lead wicket taker for Bharat CC (BCC) with figures of 4 for 60. Dharam Chandora returned with the bat and top scored for BCC with 42 runs of 104 deliveries as his side only managed 131 runs in 31.1 overs. Naman Patel was the pick of the bowlers for Central Bank with figures of 5for 27. With a lead of 120 runs, Central Bank batsmen went on to amass 141 runs in 31 overs with Rishi Ahuja top scoring with 43 runs of 68 balls. Dharam Chandora was again in the thick of things and picked up 6 wickets for 50. With the target of 261 on board BCC batsmen threw the kitchen sink at it, yet failed to cross the line by 29 runs. Raj Majethia scored a valiant 89 of 102 deliveries whereas Naman Patel returned with the ball and picked up 3 for 43.
