Rajasthan Premier League-4 2018 was played between 10th Jan.’ 18 to 14th Jan.’ 18 at Ahmedabad.
18 teams from various verticals participated in this tournament. An interesting final of this tournament was held at Adani Shantigram Cricket Ground- Ahmedabad on 14th Jan.’18 between Shambhu Coffee Bar and Tulsi Caterers.
Shambhu Coffee Bar won the toss and elected to bat. Opening batsman Bharat Singh gave team a very good start as he scored 38 runs in 27 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes. However, he failed to get required support from the other end and wickets started to fall at regular intervals. None of the remaining players managed to score beyond 10’s and team ended up scoring 89 runs in 11.2 overs after losing all the wickets. Harish Varma and Lokesh Kumawat from Tulsi Caterers were the chief wreckers and they took 4 and 3 wickets respectively restricting the opponent from putting up a good score.
While replying, Tulsi Caterers failed to get a good start as they lost some important wickets in early overs. After being restricted at a low score, Shambhu Coffee Bar did a come back with strong bowling attack making the chase difficult for Tulsi Caterers. None of the players managed to stand for long on crease and team bundled up making 70 runs in 12 overs by losing all wickets. Highest scorer was Harish Sharma with 21 runs. Bowling highlight of innings was Bharat Chabra from Shambhu Coffee Bar, who took 4 wickets in 3 overs.
Shambhu Coffee Bar won the final of Rajasthan Premier League-4 2018 by 19 runs against Tulsi Caterers.
Bharat Chabra from Shambhu Coffee Bar was awarded as the player of the match.
