Agrawal Premier League 9- 2018 was organized by Agrawal Yuva Trust between 3rd Jan.’ 18 to 12th Jan.’18 at Surat.
Out of the 9 participant teams, the final of this much celebrated tournament was played between ORA (APL9) and Baroda (APL9) on 13th Jan.’ 18 at Agrawal Vidya Vihar School Ground- Surat.
ORA (APL9) won the toss and elected to bat. Team failed to get a good start as team lost some important wickets in early overs. However, Captain Shubham Sarawgi played an excellent innings as he scored 46 runs 37 balls by hitting 6 boundaries and 1 six. This helped ORA (APL9) close at a decent score of 115 runs at the end of 20 overs after losing all wickets. Nirav Gupta from Baroda (APL9) bowled really well as he succeed in taking 3 important wickets of the innings .
While chasing, Baroda (APL9) got a wonderful start with both the opening batsmen Kunal Agarwal and Sachin Agrawal hitting 33 and 45 runs respectively at a very good pace. Captain Aditya Gupta too displayed good batting skills as he scored 30 runs in 30 balls. Baroda (APL9) chased down the target in 15.4 overs with the loss of 2 wickets.
Baroda (APL9) won the final by 8 wickets against ORA (APL9) in Agrawal Premier League 9 -2018.
Nirav Gupta from Baroda (APL9) was awarded as player of the match.
