Lakshya Road Safety Champions Trophy 2017-18 was organized by Centre For Road Safety-Jaipur between 26th Dec.’ 17 to 9th Jan.’ 18.
9 teams from various academies participated in this tournament. The final of this much cherished tournament was played on 9th Jan.’ 18 between Kodai Cricket Academy (U-13) and SBN Cricket Academy (U-13) at SBN Cricket Stadium-Jaipur.
Kodai Cricket Academy(U-13) won the toss and elected to bat. Team lost some important wickets in early overs. However, Manan Bhadada (40) and Kunal Chaudhary (29) managed to add to the score steadily. However, they failed to score at a good pace and team went on losing the wickets at regular intervals. Kodai Cricket Academy (U-13) bundled up scoring 112 runs in 38.5 overs. Though all the bowlers of SBN Cricket Academy (U-13) did good job, Vibhor Temani bowled exceptionally well as he took 2 wickets in 8 overs by giving only 17 runs.
While chasing, SBN Cricket Academy (U-13) too faced some early losses. However, the partnership between Manan Singh Shekhavat (31) and Vinay Mundra (42) steered team towards the final win. Team chased down the target in 26 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Aviraj Gupta from Kodai Cricket Academy (U-13), who took 2 wickets in 5 overs.
SBN Cricket Academy (U-13) won the final of Lakshya Road Safety Champions Trophy 2017-18 by 5 wickets against Kodai Cricket Academy (U-13).

Closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Bimal Soni (Former Manager Indian Cricket Team), Mr. Manoj Bhatt (Former DGP Rajasthan and Director of Center For Road Safety), Mr. Gaurav Srivastava (IPS,DIG -Rajasthan Police) and Mr. R.K. Arora (Commandant), who awarded all the winners of this tournament.
