SJPL Season- 3 was organized between 23rd Dec.’17 to 7th Jan.’18 at Ahmedabad.
Out of the 8 participant teams, the final of this much loved tournament was played between Blackbullz and YUG CC on 7th Jan.’ 18 at J.S.Patel Cricket Ground- Ahmedabad.
Blackbullz won the toss and elected to bat. Team did not manage to put up a good score for the final and ended up scoring 83 runs in 19.3 overs after losing all the wickets. Bowling attack from YUG CC was quite strong and none of the players managed to score freely. Shail Shah and Rinkesh Shah from YUG CC bowled extremely well as they took 3 wickets each. Highest scorer of the innings was Parth with 24 runs.
Since the target was not very difficult to defend, YUG CC managed to achieve it in 15.4 overs by losing 4 wickets. Shail Shah was the highest scorer with 22 runs. C Shalin Shah and Rinkesh Shah too performed well as they added 19 and 17 runs respectively at a good pace.
YUG CC won the final by 6 wickets against Blackbullz in SJPL Season 3 2017-18.
Player of the match was Shail Shah from YUG CC.
