C K Patel T-20 Championship was organized between 30th Dec.’ 17 to 6th Jan.’ 18 at by Central Board Of Cricket Ahmedabad.
Out of 12 participant teams, the final of this tournament was played between Silver Leaf C.C and Bank Of India on 5th Jan.’ 17 at Motera C- Ahmedabad.
Silver Leaf C. C won the toss and elected to bat. Team started well as both the opening batsmen Ajay Vacheta and Prem Thakor were scoring at a good pace. Silver Leaf C.C. played a good innings and ended up scoring 131 runs at the end of 20 runs after losing 9 wickets. Highest scorer was Prem Thakor, who made 31 runs in 18 balls with 5 boundaries. Parth Chaudhary and Dhrushant from Bank Of India (CBCA-Open) bowled really well and took 2 wickets each.
While chasing, despite losing some early wickets Bank Of India chased down the target in 19.1 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Team had a strong batting line up with almost all the players contributing well for the final score. Highest scorers were Rahul Shah and Dhwanil Patel with 36 and 25 runs respectively. Rakesh Kahar from Silver Leaf C.C was the pick of the bowler as he took 2 wickets in 4 overs.
Bank Of India won the final by 4 wickets against Silver Leaf C.Cin C K Patel T-20 Championship.
Dhrushant from Bank Of India was awarded as the player of the match.
