GIHED Premier League Season 8 started at Ahmedabad on 2nd Jan.’ 18. 8 teams representing various real estate companies in Ahmedabad are participating in this much celebrated tournament.
An interesting match was played between Supreme Rulers (GPLS8) and Avirat Avengers (GPLS8) on 4th Jan.’ 18 at Rajpath Club ground.
Avirat Avengers (GPLS8) won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Supreme Rulers (GPLS8) made 92 runs in 15 overs by losing 9 wickets. Raj Shah played an excellent innings by scoring 46 runs in 35 balls and remained not out. However, remaining players did not manage to put up a good show and team started to lose wickets at regular intervals. Shivang Patel and Alkesh Patel from Avirat Avengers bowled extremely well as they took 4 and 3 wickets respectively damaging the batting line up of Supreme Rulers (GPLS8) badly.
While chasing, Avirat Avengers (GPLS8) got a very good start with both the opening batsmen Shivang Patel (35) and Pranay Shah (35) scoring at fast pace.Team chased down the target in 11 overs with the loss of 2 wickets.
Avirat Avengers (GPLS8) won the match by 8 wickets against Supreme Rulers (GPLS8).
