Balrampur Premier League 2017-18 was organized between 24th Dec.’ 17 to 31st Dec.’ 17.
Out of the 8 participant teams, the final of this tournament was played between Fight Cricket Club Balrampur and Silver Strikers Lucknow on 31st Dec.’ 17 at Sports Stadium- Balrampur.
Silver Strikers Lucknow won the toss and elected to field. With outstanding bowling performance led by Vishal, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs they managed to restrict Fight Cricket Club Balrampur at a low score. No one except Rajat Singh (32) managed to score significantly for the final and team lost all wickets in 15.5 overs at the score of 95 runs.
While chasing, Silver Strikers Lucknow played a good innings with almost all the players scoring at a good pace. They managed to achieve the target in 13.2 overs by losing 5 wickets. Rohit Batham and Abhishek Mandela were the highest scorers with 26 and 20 runs respectively. Bowling highlight of the innings was Danish Siddiqui from Fight Cricket Club Balrampur, who took 2 wickets in 3.2 overs.
Silver Strickets Lucknow won the final of Balrampur Premier League 2017-18 by 5 wickets against Fight Cricket Club Balrampur.
