Shree Shree 1008 Bhrahmin Anntyagi Sant Shree Sujaramji Maharaj Cricket Tournament was organized between 24th Dec.’ 17 to 31st Dec.’ 17 at Jodhpur.
16 teams from various cricket clubs of Jodhpur participated in this tournament. The final of this much celebrated tournament was held on 31st Dec.’ 18 at B.R.Fauji Cricket Ground, Jodhpur between Pal Balaji Jodhpur (BAS) and Railway Cricket Club (BAS).
Railway Cricket Club (BAS) won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Pal Balaji (BAS) played a good innings and scored 137 runs in 16.5 overs after losing all the wickets. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, team managed to score at a good pace. Highest scorers were Sahrukh and Paras Godara with 34 and 32 runs respectively. Bowling highlight of the innings was Sunil Nain from Railway Cricket Club (BAS), who took 4 wickets in 2.5 overs.
While chasing, despite losing some important wickets in early overs, Railway Cricket Club (BAS) managed to achieve the target in 19.1 overs by losing 7 wickets. Leading batsman Pravin Boora played an excellent innings as he scored 44 runs in 42 balls and remained not out. Sachin Siswal too scored well as smashed 33 runs in 17 balls with 5 boundaries and 1 six. Pick of the bowlers was Sammy Binjariya from Pal Balaji Jodhpur (BAS), who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
Railway Cricket Club (BAS) won the final by 3 wickets against Pal Balaji (BAS).
