One of the most celebrated tournaments of Ahmedabad- NSLT20 Corporate Cricket Tournament was organized between 15th Dec.’ 17 to 30th Dec.’ 17.
12 teams from various corporates participated in the tournament. An interesting final of this tournament was held at SGVP Ground- Ahmedabad between Adani Enterprise and Hidden Brains (NSL) on 30th Dec.’ 17.
Adani Enterprise won the toss and elected to bat. Team was in trouble from the start as bowlers of Hidden Brains (NSL) ran through the top order in quick time. None of the players got chance to stand for long on the crease. Bakul Ayer from Hidden Brains (NSL) proved a chief wrecker as he took 4 wickets in 4 overs. Highest scorer was Nisarg Vyas with 32 runs. Adani Enterprise scored 118 runs at the end of 20 overs after losing all wickets.
While chasing, Hidden Brains (NSL) got a very good start with both the opening batsmen scoring at a good pace. Bakul Ayer shined again as he smashed 47 runs in 45 balls with 4 boundaries and 2 sixes. All the players contributed well for the final score as Hidden Brains (NSL) chased down the target in 15.3 overs with the loss of 2 wickets.
Hidden Brains (NSL) won the final by 8 wickets against Adani Enterprise.
