The most cherished - Rajpath-Kunvarji Winter Cricket League - 2017 was organized by Rajpath Club- Ahmedabad between 13th Nov.’17 to 28th Dec.’ 17.
Held at Rajpath Club-Ahmedabad, the final of this tournament was played between Super Power (R-37 Above) and Sampa XI (R-37 Above).
Super Power (R-37 Above) won the toss and elected to bat. Team had a good start with opening batsman Chokshi Kinnar scoring 32 runs at a good pace. However, team failed maintain the pace and wickets started to fall at regular intervals. Team closed their innings at the score of 83 runs in 16 overs after losing 8 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Jignesh Soyantar, who took 2 wickets in 3 overs by giving only 6 runs.
While replying, Captain Samip Shah played a wonderful innings by scoring 53 runs in just 25 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes. With his outstanding performance, Sampa XI (R-37 Above) managed to achieve the target in just 9.1 overs with the loss of 3 wickets.
Sampa XI (R-37 Above won the final of Rajpath- Kunvarji Winter Cricket League - 2017 by 7 wickets.
Samip Shah from Sampa XI (R-37 Above) was awarded as the player of the match.
