One of the most prestigious tournaments - Rajpath-Kunverji Winter Cricket League 2017 (16-37) organized by Rajpath Club-Ahmedabad was played between 13th Nov.’ 17 to 28th Dec.’ 17.
The final of this much cherished tournament was held on 28th Dec.’ 17 between Falcons (R-16-37) and Shoot Out XI (R-16-37) at Rajpath Club-Ahmedabad.
Falcons (R-16-37) won the toss and elected to bat. Team failed to get a good start as wickets started to fall from early overs. Players were not able to score well against the strong bowling attack from Shoot Out XI. None of the players managed to go beyond 20’s and team ended up scoring 87 runs in 14.5 by losing all wickets. Highest scorer was Kushal Shah with 21 runs.Samkit Turakhia and Sharad Gandhi from Shoot Out XI(R-16-37) bowled extremely well as they took 3-3 wickets each.
While chasing, Shoot Out XI (R-16-37) too did not get a good start and lost some important wickets in the first few overs. However, remaining players added to the score steadily and team managed to chase down the target in 14.4 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Highest scorer was Shivam Shah with 21 runs. Pick of the bowers was Rachit Dalpat from Falcons (R-16-37), who took 2 wickets in 4 overs.
Shoot Out XI (R-16-37) won the final of Rajpath-Kunvaji Winter Cricket League-2017 by 5 wickets.
