One of the most prestigious of tournaments of Bikaner - Shree Brahmin Swarnakaar Cricket League 2017 was played between 16th Dec.’ 17 to 25th Dec.’ 17.
Out of 9 participant teams, the final of this much cherished tournament was played between Dharnidhar Raiging star and Royal Cricket Club (BKN) on 25th Dec.’ 17 at Railway Ground- Bikaner.
Dharnidhar Raiging Star won the toss and elected to bat. Despite facing some early blows, team managed to close at a reasonable score of 122 runs in 20 overs after losing 8 wickets. Highest contributors were Aman Soni and Ravi Buccha with 25 and 27 runs respectively. Royal Cricket Club (BKN) bowled well as they managed to take wickets at regular intervals restricting opponent from scoring high. Bowling highlight of the innings was Ashish Soni from Royal Cricket Club (BKN), who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing, Royal Cricket Club (KBN) played a wonderful innings with almost all the players scoring at a good pace. Highest scorer was Prakash Soni, who scored 27 runs in 18 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Team managed to chase down the target in 18.2 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Piyush from Dharnidhar Raiging Star, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
Royal Cricket Club (BKN) won the final of Shree Brahmin Swarnakaar Cricket League 2017 defeating Dharnidhar Raiging Star by 6 wickets.
