Solapur U-19 Cricket Tournament 2017 was organized between 14th Nov.’17 to 18th Dec.’17 at Solapur.
The final of the tournament was held at Park Stadium- Solapur between Solapur Lions and Solapur Kings on 18th Dec.’17.
Solapur Kings won the toss and elected to field. Proving their decision right, they bundled up the opponent team in just 13.2 overs at the score of 62 runs. None of the players managed to stand for long on crease against the strong bowling attack of Solapur Kings. Ritesh Sali and Manish Kahar Jca took 5 and 4 wickets respectively.
After being restricted to a low score, Solapur Lions did a good come back with terrific bowling attack. Outstanding bowling by Vinay Yelli and Nadeem Shaikh wrecked the batting line up of Solapur Kings completely. They did not get any chance to score and team ended up at just 53 runs in 20.2 overs. Highest contributor was Manish Kahar Jca with 18 runs.
Solapur Lions won the final by 9 runs against Solapur Kings in Solapur Premier League U-19 Cricket Tournament 2017.
Vinayak Yelli from Solapur Lions was awarded as the player of the match.
