Sharafali Sharafi Cup 2017 was played on 16th and 17th Dec.’17 at SRP-9 Ground, Vadodara.
Out of the 4 participant teams, the final was played between Baroda CC and Bombay Bagheeras.
Baroda CC won the toss and elected to bat. Team played an exceptional innings as they scored 231 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 2 wickets. Though all the batsmen played really well, Zishan Ali stole the show as he scored 126 runs in just 45 balls with 16 boundaries and 8 sixes.
While chasing, Bombay Bagheeras started well with opening batsman Ali Hasan scoring 54 runs in 19 balls. However, he did not get the support from the other end and team started to lose wickets at regular intervals. Entire team collapsed scoring 123 runs at the end of 14.5 overs. Zishan Ali shined again as he took 4 important wickets in 3.5 overs.
Baroda CC won the final by 8 wickets against Bombay Bagheeras.
