JCA U-14 Boys Tournament 2017 was organized at Bengaluru between 1th Dec.’17 to 15th Dec.’17.
Out of the 6 participant teams, the final was held between two strongest teams of the tournament - JCA Red and JCA Orange on 15th Dec.’17 at MVIT-1, Bengaluru.
JCA Red won the toss and elected to bat. Team did not manage to get a good start and they bundled up scoring 122 runs in 38 overs. Aarav Bhatnagar played a wonderful innings by scoring 52 runs in 34 balls where in remaining players struggled to score from the other end. Bowling attack from JCA Orange was quite strong and team kept on losing the wickets at regular intervals. Pick of the bowlers was Adarsh B from JCA Orange, who took 2 wickets in 6 overs by giving only 15 runs.
It was not a difficult target for JCA Orange as they reached at the score of 123 runs in 36 overs by losing 4 wickets. Highest contributors were Shravan A S and Syon with 35 and 20 runs respectively.
JCA Orange won the final of JCA U-14 Boys Tournament 2017 by 7 wickets against JCA Red.
Aryan Mandal from JCA Orange was awarded as the player of the match.
