ACA-NDCA Schools Tournament 2017 was played between 9th Dec.’17 to 11th Dec.’17 at Venkatagiri. 10 teams from various schools participated in the tournament.
The final of this much loved tournament was held at Tarakarama Krida Pranganam, Venkatgiri on 11th Dec.’17 between Kendriya Vidyalayam Venkatagiri and Little Angles Public School Gudur.
Little Angels Public School Gudur won the toss and elected to field. Proving their decision right, they did not let any of the players settle and score freely from Kendriya Vidyalayam Venkatagiri. Team bundled up scoring 69 runs in 16.3 overs. Sainadh Y V D from Little Angels Public School was instrumental for the early collapse of Kendriya Vidhyalayam Venkatagiri as he claimed 4 wickets in 5 overs.
While replying, despite facing some early blows, Little Angels Public School Gudur chased down the target in 14.3 overs by losing 5 wickets. Raghav V, who remained not out at 38 runs helped team reaching to the score of 73 runs easily. Bowling highlight of the innings was Venkatesh B, who took 2 wickets in 2 overs.
Little Angels Public School Gudur won the final by 5 wickets in ACA- NDCA Schools Tournament 2017.
