Bikaner District Cricket Tournament 2017 was organized between 12th Nov.’17 to 6th Dec.’17 at Bikaner. 18 teams from various verticals participated in this tournament.
The much cherished tournament ended with BCC (Bikaner) winning the final against Krishna Sports on 6th Dec.’17.
Krishna Sports won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, BCC (Bikaner) had some wonderful performances, which guided them to a good score of 252 runs at the end of 46.3 overs after losing all the wickets. Madhu Khatri and Gourav Khatri played a wonderful innings by scoring 88 and 78 runs respectively at a very good pace. Captain Vinod Chavriya too delivered a good performance and added 51 runs in 47 balls with 5 boundaries and a six. Bowling highlight of the innings was Parkash Rathore from Krishna Sports, who took 4 wickets in 8 overs.
While replying, Krishna Sports too tried really well. Team had a strong batting line up with almost all the players contributing in the final score. However, they failed tackle the bowlers of opponent team carefully and ended up losing all the wickets in 44.1 overs by scoring 211 runs. Pick of the bowlers was Gourav Khatri from BCC (Bikaner) with 3 wickets.
BCC (Bikaner) won the crucial final by 41 runs against Krishna Sports in Bikaner District Cricket Tournament 2017.
