Meelad Cricket Tournament was organized at Mysore between 21st Nov.’17 to 30th Nov.’ 17. 20 teams from various verticals participated in this tournament.
The final of Meelad Cricket Tournament was played on 30th Nov.’17 at Bannimantap Grounds, Mysore between King Stars Mys and Ns Royals Mysore.
Ns Royals Mysore won the toss and elected to field. Despite a poor start, King Stars Mys managed to end the innings at a decent score. Though majority of the players failed to stand for long, team ended up scoring 141 runs at the end of 19.4 overs after losing all wickets. Suhail and Rafi were the highest scorers with 51 and 23 runs respectively.
While chasing, Ns Royals Mysore failed to get a good start and started to lose wickets from early overs. Players did not manage to score freely against the strong bowling attack from King Stars Mys. Highest scorer was Rizwan Ns, who scored 39 runs in 18 balls. Waseem Khan from King Stars Mys bowled extremely well as he took 4 wickets in 2 overs damaging the batting line up of Ns Royals Mysore. Team collapsed in 16 overs after scoring 108 runs.
King Stars Mys won the final by 33 runs against Ns Royals Mysore.
