Dev Joshi starred with the ball picking 10 wickets as Shri Vidhyanagar School (SVS) routed Diwan Ballubhai Madhyamik Shala (DBMS) by an inning and 200 runs in a multiday under-14 HC Kapasi School Tournament at Motera C. Asked to bowl, Dev ran through the rivals with seven wickets as SVS bowled out their rivals for a mere 39. For DBMS, Aksh Dave’s 42-ball 17 was the highest score. Aksh then picked six wickets but his heroics were not enough to save DBMS. Aaryan Patel (65 from 77 balls) scored a half-century while Kirtan Tripathi scored 34 runs from 72 balls as SVS posted 270 in reply. DBMS’ poor show with the bat continued in the second innings with Shreedev Thakor’s 28-ball 12 being the highest score. Aaryan dominated the rivals with four wickets while Dev rounded up his impressive show with three more as SVS bowled out their rivals for 31to register a big win.
