Kerul Patel starred with a half century as Sheth CN Vidhyalay registered a comfortable seven-wicket win over Divan Ballubhai Madhyamik Shala (DBMS) one-day under-19 Hiramani School Tournament at CN Sports Academy on Monday. Electing to bat, it was all struggle for DBMS with Mihir Nimavat top scoring with 67- ball 37 while Nirmal Kahara added a quick-fire 30 from 23 balls. Yuvraj Singh took three wickets while Naishil Sharma added a couple as CN bowled out their rivals for 190 in 49.5 overs. Kerul then guided the team home with an unbeaten 63-ball 50 as the hosts reached the target in 30.3 overs losing three wickets in the process. Sumit Patel (63-ball 45) and Pragnan Lakhia (39-ball 39) too chipped in with useful runs for the winners. For DBMS, Jainam Shah took the lone wicket to fall.
