PPL- 2 (Prince Premier League) was played between 18th Nov.’17 to 26th Nov.’17 at Bhatkal.
Out of the 4 participant teams, the final was held at Kochapu Ground Manki, Bhatkal on 26th Nov.’17 between Margar United and Wanted boys.
Wanted boys won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Margar United got a good start as both opening batsman Abu Nisam and Mohammad Iyad scored at a good pace. Team had a good batting line up with almost all the players contributing in the final score. Captain Abu Nisam was the highest scorer, who made 65 runs in 27 balls with 7 fours and 5 Sixes. Team scored 175 runs at at the end of 20 overs after losing 9 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Abdullah Chaiku from Wanted Boys, who took 4 wickets in 4 overs by giving only 14 runs.
Wanted boys too played a good innings while chasing the target of 176 runs. Players maintained a very good pace and ended up achieving target in 18.4 overs by losing 7 wickets. Captain Sahil Sawda was the highest scorer with 44 runs. Pick of the bowlers was Abu Nisam from Margar United, who took 2 wickets in 4 overs.
