Atri Raval’s fantastic batting helped SPCT beat Rising Star CC to enter the semifinal in the SPCT Cup T-20 cricket tournament held at L D Arts College ground on Saturday. After winning the toss, Rising Star CC elected to bat first. They made 99 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 19.2 overs. Electing to bat first RSCC were in trouble with only Suresh Rajput scoring 27 and Girish Gaud 15. For SPCT Raval top scored with an unbeaten 65 in 40 balls, while Sanjay Tiwari added 33 in 19 balls to take their team home. Harsh Trivedi took three wickets for 13 runs, while Yash Desai, Sapan Soni and Sanjay Tiwari took two wickets each for the winners. SPCT will play the semifinal against Sangwan CC.
