Boys and Girls Cricket Association Of Chittoor District Cricket League 2017 was played between 18th Nov.’17 to 21st Nov.’17.
The final of this tournament was held on 21st Nov.’17 at Thummalagunta YSR Ground, Tirupati between SEICOM College Tirupati and CDCA Tirupati Main Center.
SEICOM College Tirupati won the toss and elected to bat. Proving their decision right, team played an excellent innings and made 346 runs in 50 overs after losing 9 wickets. Captain Surya played performed exceptionally well as he scored 121 runs in 91 balls hitting 17 fours and 6 sixes. Remaining players too contributed significantly and managed to put up a big score for the final win. Pick of the bowlers was G. Dasaratha Ramaiah from CDCA Tirupati Main Center, who took 3 wickets in 10 overs.
While replying, CDCA did not manage to get a very good start and started to fumble from early overs. Highest scorer was Vinod Naidu with 27 runs. Players failed to score well against the strong bowling attack of SEICOM College Tirupati. Team bundled up scoring 138 runs in 30 overs.
SEICOM College Tirupati won the final by wide margin of 208 runs against CDCA Tirupati Main Center.
