The prestigious KCL Gallons Cup Winter- 2017 started on 20th Nov.’17 at Karnavati Club- Ahmedabad.
First match of the tournament was played between Apocalypse XI (16-36) and Juggernaut (16-36).
Apocalypse XI won the toss and elected to bat. Team had a strong batting line up as they ended up scoring 131 runs at the end of 15 overs by losing 4 wickets. Captain Mihir Dave played a good innings and remained not out after scoring 29 runs in 14 balls by hitting 1 four and 3 sixes.
While chasing the target, Juggernaut (16-36) did not manage to get a good start and ended up losing wickets at regular intervals. Highest scorer was Jinoy Patel, who made 20 runs in 12 balls. Team failed to score at a required pace against the strong bowling attack and lost all wickets in 13.2 overs by scoring 82 runs. Bowling highlight of the innings was Anish Patel from Apocalypse XI (16-36), who took 3 wickets in 3 overs.
Apocalypse XI (16-36) won the match by 49 runs against Juggernaut (16-36) in KCL Gallons Cup Winter- 2017.
