The much cherished tournament- Bharweli Cricket League 2017 was organized between 10th nov.’17 to 18th Nov.’‘17 at Balaghat.
Out of 11 participant teams, the final of Bharweli Cricket League 2017 was played between Royal King (BCL) and Patel Tiger (BCL) on 18th Nov.’17 at Durga Chowk, Bharweli.
Royal King (BCL) won the toss and elected to bat. Team played a good innings as players scored at a very good pace from early overs. Royal King (BCL) ended up scoring 87 runs at the end of 10 overs after losing 7 wickets. Digamber Maskhare was the highest scorer, who made 21 runs in 15 balls. Pick of the bowlers was Atul Singh Bagri from Patel Tiger (BCL), who took 3 wickets in 2 overs.
While chasing, Patel Tiger (BCL) did not get a very good start as team lost some important wickets in early overs. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, team managed to score 88 runs in 8.1 overs by losing 8 wickets. Highest scorers were Almas Patel (c & wk) and Komal Lilhare, who added 20 and 34 runs respectively at a good pace. Bowling highlight of the innings was, Manish Suryavanshi from Royal King (BCL), who took 2 wickets in 2 overs by giving 6 runs.
Patel Tiger (BCL) won the final of Bharweli Cricket League 2017 by 2 wickets against Royal King (BCL).
