Indoor Premier League (IPL) was conducted by United Cricket Club during the 13th and 14th of this month at The Sports Studio, Puducherry !!
It was a special Independence Day edition and was the biggest indoor league ever happened in Puducherry. As many as 107 matches were conducted with in a span of 36 hours which included Cricheroes live streaming !
32 teams participated in the tournament and it was a tough fight between all the teams for the championship !
Team Tamil CC under the leadership of Deva won the title and team Strikers under the captaincy of Thennavan ended up as runner up.
Teams United CC and TCC led by Venkat and Jacob respectively secured third place in the tournament.
Chandru from TCC was awarded the best batsman of the tournament while Murugavel from Strikers won the best bowler of the tournament award. Vishva from Tamil CC was awarded with the Most Valuable player of the tournament !
One best performer from each 32 teams were selected and was honoured with a medal for their spirited fight !

This was the 4th indoor tournament conducted by the Team United CC in 2022 under the guidance of Venkat and rightly said that this was the biggest in Puducherry, in terms of popularity and reach !!
