Blazewell 162/4 in 18.2 overs (Achal 66, Yogeshiwar Singh Yadav 2/15, Yatesh 2/22) beat Stallions Sameer 160/9 in 20 overs (Nakul Ramesh 75, Siya Shehzad 2/14, Gagan Sodhi 2/33) by 6 wickets.
As Stallions Sameer elected to bat first after winning the toss, Somya Azad and skipper Sameer came to open the innings. But, Blazewell on the other hand, arrived with other plans, By the start of the eleventh over, Gagan Sodhi and Co. had already sent half of the Stallions Sameer's batting unit to the pavillion. But then, Nikhil and Nakul made a brilliant comeback as they had an awesome partnership of 66 runs for the sixth wicket. Nakul Ramesh was full set by then and he capitalised the time he invested on the crease. He smashed the Blazewell's bowlers all round the park, hit eight sixes in his 32 balls innings and played a gem of an innings of 75 runs to take his team to a formidable total. With his exceptional performance, Stallions Sameer put 160 runs in 20 overs. From Blazewell, Asif Khan, Gagan Sodhi and Siya Shehzad picked up two wickets each.
Blazewell needed to score nearly at eight runs per over in order to successfully chase down the target. They did not had a great start to the chase as Vivek Malik got dismissed early in fifth over. Then, Anubhav Mehrotra and Achal played brilliantly as they put Blazewell in a commanding position after adding 85 runs for the second wicket. It was a special innings of Achal who proved to be a real game changer of the match, he played 32 balls for his 66 runs. Down the order, Siya, Vikas and Yash's collective effort helped Blazewell chased down the target quite comfortably with ten balls to spare. Yatesh and Yogeshiwar each grabbed two wickets from the defending side.
