Punters 11 154/5 in 19.3 overs (Samir 70, Chetan Anand 2/24, Himanshu Sharma 1/15) beat Sparkle XI 150/6 in 20 overs (Y S 54*, Chetan Sharma 34*, Puneet Mehra 2/23) by 5 wickets.
Punters 11 needed 151 runs to chase down. Varun Arora and Samir came out to open the chase for Punters 11. They began the chase on a very affirmative note, Samir took the upper hand while Varun played the supporting role for his partner. He made 19 runs before he got out in the eleventh over, the opening-duo added 84 runs for the first wicket. Then, Piyush and Lalit Gautam made little contributions and took their side to victory. Chetan Anand took a couple of wickets with figure of 2/24 in his quota of four overs. Rohan Rawat, Vikas Punia and Himanshu Sharma took one wicket each.
Sparkle XI won the toss and elected to bat first. The Punters 11 bowlers started on a positive note as they took early breakthroughs, they put the batting side into pressure by earning four wickets in the powerplay. Then, Y S continued to bat along as he played beautifully for his unbeaten 54, he hit one six and four boundaries in his 47 ball innings. Down the order, Chetan Sharma played an astonishing cameo of 34 runs in which he took only 16 balls, he hit three sixes and two boundaries in his unbeaten short stay. Puneet Mishra bowled brilliantly for his two wickets while Vijay Chauhan, Lalit, Ketan and Piyush took one wicket each. The score of 150 was not good enough for Sparkle XI, they couldn't resist the chasing side from getting to the total, hence Punters 11 won the game by 5 wickets.
