Blazewell 210/5 in 20 overs (Vikas Choudhary 49*, Gaurav Negi 47, Nitin Choudhary 2/27) beat SS Sports Club 209/7 in 20 overs (Naksh7 57, Asif Khan 4/34, Chirag 2/29) by 5 wickets.
Blazewell had to chase down a mammoth total of 210 in 20 overs, Vivek and Anubhav, the two openers had to provide a decent start in order to achieve the feat. The former was dismissed early in the first over but Anubhav kept his nerves and he, along with Achal Singla added 62 runs for the second wicket. Achal Singla played the supporting role as he played 26 deliveries for his 27. Then came Ashutosh, and smashed three sixes to go with a boundary, in his short stay. After half of the second innings were over, Blazewell's score was 105/4 that included a pricy wicket of Anubhav. They needed exactly 105 more runs from here and now the onus was on Gaurav Negi and Vikas Choudhary to carry forward the momentum. They did not disappoint at all and played gem innings of 47 and 49 respectively. It came down to last over, where the chasing side needed 11 runs to register a famous victory. In the last two balls, they needed eight runs, and Asif Khan delivered the most precious six of the match by hitting Deepanshu Phore out of the park, he took two runs on the last ball and won the game for his team.
Earlier, SS Sports Club won the toss and elected to bat first. Naksh7 continued his good form as he provided a decent start by contributing 57 runs for his team. Along with him, Tanuj Panwar and Deepak Khatri also made healthy contributions of 44 and 35 respectively. From the bowling side, Asif Khan delivered an awesome spell of 4/34, he got good support from Chirag who also scalped a couple of wickets. It was Mohit Khatri down the order, whose unbeaten 25 made it possible for SS Sports Club to reach the 200 run mark. Ashwani Singh bowled the most expensive spell of the season, giving away 75 runs in his quota of four overs. At the end of first innings, SS Sports Club scored 209 runs in 20 overs.
