Galaxy Cup (Men) was organized between 5th Nov.’17 to 14th Nov.’17 at Bengaluru.
8 teams from different cities participated in this tournament. The final of Galaxy Cup (Men) was played on 14th Nov.’17 between Srinivas Cricket Academy Hyderabad and President XI at N. V. Ground, Gulbarga.
Srinivas Cricket Academy Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat. Team got a very good start as both opening batsmen started to score at a good pace. Sagar smashed 106 runs in 63 balls by hitting 14 fours and 3 sixes. Other players too contributed well and team ended up scoring 182 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 5 wickets.
While replying, President XI played a good innings. Highest scorers were N Raghavendra (c) and Ajay Gowda, who scored 54 and 65 respectively. Team chased down the target in 18.1 overs by losing 6 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was M. A Raof from Srinivas Cricket Academy Hyderabad, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
President XI won the final of Galaxy Cup (Men) by 4 wickets against Srinivas Cricket Academy Hyderabad.
