BSK 114/4 in 14.3 overs (Karampal Singh 31, Mathysuthen Velmaran 28, Gurmehar Saran 3/19) beat the GCC 110/10 in 19.4 overs (Subba Rao 24) by 6 wickets.   It was a comfortable victory for the host team, finishing the game within 15 overs chasing a total of 111. BSK having lost the toss and were made to field first. It was a steady start by the opening bowlers. BSK did well to restrict the batsmen to singles and doubles with some good bowling and taking wickets at regular intervals. Nimesh Patel was excellent in his fielding today who with some quick thinking got the first batsman out with a sharp throw at the stumps.BSK were really good in their fielding, grabbing a total 5 catches in their bowling innings. Good team work from BSK helped them to bowl out their opponents for 110 in 19.4 overs. Gurmehar Saran bowled excellently and finished with a figure of 3/19. Jatin Kaushal and Alex Jaques contributed well in the bowling department both finishing with figures of 2/13 and 2/21 respectively..   It was a hot sunny day, tiring to field out in the sun. Bala Rajan and Ankit Mann opened the batting for BSK. They gave a good start scoring 10 runs per over before both being dismissed when the team score was 30 inside 4 overs. Then a fantastic 63 run partnership between Karampal(31) and Mathysuthen(28) saw BSK closer to clinching a comfortable victory. The middle order came in to finish the match for BSK, getting them a 6 wicket win over the Greyhound Cricket Club.   Karampal Singh was adjudged the man of the match for his sharp keeping and scoring 32 with the bat.
