The Royals Giridih 97/1 in 7.2 overs (Saket Kedia 43*, Rajroshan Mishra 28, Aman Kumar 1/23) beat Cricket Heroes Club 95/7 in 10 overs (Dhananjay Pandey 27, Prabhakar 2/5, Saket Kedia 2/20) by 9 wickets. The Royals Giridih were crowned champions of the 2021 Giridih Premier League in a one-sided game in Giridih Stadium. As the game started, The Royals Giridih won the toss and elected to field first. Cricket Heroes Club were invited to bat first, and they started their innings on a positive note. Dhananjay Pandey and Vibhu Kumar gave them a decent start before the latter got dismissed in the fifth over. Then, Cricket Heroes Club suddenly lost their grip as The Royals Giridih bowlers came back strongly. They grabbed the opportunity with both the hands and were able to restrict the batting side from getting to a bigger total. Prabhakar bowled exceptionally well for his outstanding figures of 2 wickets against just five runs. Apart from him, Saket Kedia also bagged a couple of wickets. At the end of first innings, Cricket Heroes Club were 95/7 in ten overs. As the chase began, Rajroshan Mishra and Saket Kedia came out to start the proceedings for The Royals Giridih. They came all guns blazing right from the outset, specially, Saket Kedia who hit two maximums and six boundaries in his 22 balls 43. He was well supported by his fellow opener Rajroshan Mishra (28) and Prashant Ranjan (24*). Aman Kumar remained the lone wicket taker by dismissing Rajroshan in the fourth over. Due to a fantastic all-round performance from Saket Kedia, The Royals Giridih chased down the target quite comfortably in the end and won the Giridih Premier League. Now let us throw some light on statistics of the season. Md Kounain Quraishi of A.I.H.M. was the top run getter with 178 runs in four innings with an outstanding strike rate and average of 250.70 and 89 respectively. He also remained MVP with 32.09 points. Prem Kumar Chaurasiya of The Royals Giridih remained the top wicket taker with 10 scalps in five innings with an average of just 6.1.
