Sparkle XI 203/6 in 20 overs (Vipul Sharma 60, Chetan Anand 50, Om Prakash 3/36) beat Sky Skrabers 162 in 18.5 overs (Hemant Kumar 53, Himanshu Virmani 3/19, Vikas Punia 2/25) by 41 runs.
Sky Skrabers were given a target of 204 runs and they had to have a great start in order to achieve the mark. But it was only Hemant Kumar who showed some persistence and scored runs for his team, otherwise he didn't get any support from the fellow batsmen, he scored 53. Down the lower order, Gulzar and Alok made little contributions, but those were not enough for the team to chase down a total of 200 plus. Sparkle XI's bowling must be appreciated as they bowled with discipline and as a result, won the game by 41 runs. Himanshu Virmani grabbed 3 wickets while Vikas, Chetan Anand and Chetan Sharma picked up a couple of wickets each.
Having elected to bat first, Sparkle XI's start was not upto the mark as they lost their opening duo early by the end of third over. Then, Chetan Anand and Vipul Sharma played gem of an innings as they scored 50 and 60 runs respectively. They outplayed the opposition and had laid the foundation for the upcoming batsmen. Manni's valuable unbeaten 36 towards the end helped the batting side post 203 runs in 20 overs.
