Rakesh Kahar shone with an all-round display as Drive- In CC (DICC) defeated Balance CA (BCA) by 39 runs to win JS Patel T20 cricket tournament on Sunday. Electing to bat, DICC rode on Prem Thakor’s 43-ball 58 to post a challenging 184 for five. Rakesh too chipped with a useful 31-ball 48 while Nisarg Vyas added 37 from 18 balls. For BCA, Pranjal Suthariya picked three wickets. Man of the match Rakesh then wrecked the rival boat with four wickets, while Nisarg added a couple, as BCA lost their balance in chase. Naman Shah (24-ball 36), Rakesh Yadav (15-ball 26) and Himalay Barad (15-ball 23) all got starts but could not do much as DICC bowled out BCA for 145 in 17.2 overs to win the match.
