NCA (Nashik Cricket Academy) Inter School Tournament 2017 was organized between 26th Oct.’17 to 12th Nov.’17 at Nashik - Maharashtra.
16 teams from different schools participated in the tournament. The final of NCA (Nashik Cricket Academy) Inter School Trophy 2017 was played between Delhi Public School and Nirmala Convent on 12th Nov.’17 at NCA Cricket Ground- Nashik.
Delhi Public School won the toss and elected to bat. Proving their decision right, team played a good innings and scored 240 runs at the end of 42.5 overs after losing all wickets. Captain Ansh Dhoot played played a wonderful innings by scoring 109 runs in 107 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes. However, Varun Vaze from Nirmala Convent bowled exceptionally well as he took 6 wickets in 8.5 overs restricting Delhi Public School from scoring very high.
While chasing the score of 241 runs, Nirmala Convent got a good start with opening batsman Yashraj Khade (wk) hitting 85 runs in 71 balls with 17 fours. However, remaining players failed to play at the same pace as the team lost all wickets in 41.4 overs by scoring 208 runs.
Delhi Public School won the final by 32 runs against Nirmala Convent in NCA (Nashik Cricket Academy) Inter School Trophy 2017.
Player of the match was Ansh Dhoot from Delhi Public School.
