Simform The Ducksters XI 98/3 in 13 overs (Mihir Kacha 34*, Harsh Joshi 28, Vishal Manvar 2/19) beat Simform Titans XI 96 in 15.4 overs (Ankit Panchotiya 27, Harsh Joshi 3/5, Virendra Puvar 2/13) by 7 wickets.
To become the champions, Simform Ducksters needed just 97 runs in 16 overs. They just needed to make sure they not lose too many wickets in the beginning. Their openers started well and scored at run-a-ball, both Joshi and Puvar added 43 runs for the first wicket. Puvar was the first to depart, he scored 21, he hit four boundaries in his 17-ball innings. At the end of 10 overs, they were 69/2, and by then they needed just 28 more runs to win the trophy. Kacha entertained the audience with his 20 balls 34 which contained two sixes and three boundaries. Among the bowlers, Manvar was best of the bowlers, his figures were 2/19 in his four overs.
Simform Titans were invited to bat first, and Ducksters gave them early blow on the very first delivery of the match. Then there was a partnership of 33 runs for the second wicket between Vyas and Dabhi, but after that, it was wickets and wickets only. By the 16th over, Simform Titans were bowled out for 96, they lost their last nine wickets in a span of 63 runs. Panchotiya was the highest scorer with 27 runs, next was Dabhi who contributed 20 runs for his team. Talking about bowling, Harsh Joshi picked up as many as three wickets and conceded just five runs in two overs. Mahfuz and Puvar were extremely economical, their aggregate figures were 3/30 in eight overs.
