Danuva XI 70/4 in 8 overs (Mahesh Ahir 28, Ratansingh Jadeja 1/7) beat Ashapura Eleven (Rajputana) 63 in 7.5 overs (Akash Jadeja 16, Shan 3/6) by 7 runs.
It is always tricky when you are chasing a small target, initially if your batsmen go good then it is all okay, but if you are given early blows, wickets fall in cluster. The same happened with Ashapura Eleven today, they lost Mokha on first ball, then they kept losing wickets throughout their innings, and as a result, they couldn't even play their eight overs, felling short by seven runs. Akash Jadeja and Ratansingh Jadeja scored 16 and 15 runs respectively, but none of the other batsmen got going. Shan was absolutely excellent with his bowling as he scalped three wickets to his name, in fact he gave just six runs in his two overs. Dev Ahir also bowled well for his 2 for 13.
It was Danuva XI who won the toss and elected to bat first. As their batting started, Ramji Madeva Ahir was the first to depart, he added 12 runs for his side. Then, Mahesh Ahir and Ramji Hira Ahir had a partnership of 34 runs for the second wicket, the former contributed 28 runs while the latter scored 14 runs for his team. Due to their scores, Deccan Warriors reached a decent total of 70 runs. From the Ashapura Eleven's side, Ratanshingh Jadeja was exceptionally well for his 1 for 7, Mokha also struck with a wicket.
Today, Ashapura Eleven crumbled under pressure and Danuva XI showed perseverance. Their bowlers stayed calm, they knew wickets will win the game for them and they did exactly same.
