GMC Miraj A 93/3 in 9.3 overs (Abhishek Shinde 38, Prashant 29*, Sameep Bumb 1/15) beat SDCH Thunders 92/7 in 10 overs (Sameep Bumb 39, Sambhaji Ingole 20*, Badade 2/18) by 7 wickets.
GMC were chasing 93 in 60 balls but their start was just unforgettable, they lost Pradip Raut on the very first ball of the innings, but Sagar Pawar and Abhishek Shinde batted well and managed the target, they kept ticking the score board and when got opportunity, they were also able to grab boundaries in between. It was in the fifth over though, when they lost their second wicket in S Pawar, he contributed 19 valuable runs which comprised two boundaries. Prashant came in, he was very confident in his approach, meanwhile Abhishek was set and he also changed the gears as their required run-rate was just around 9, on the last ball of ninth over Abhishek got out but the damage was already been done by then as GMC Miraj A needed just four more runs to lift the trophy, and they won the match with three balls to spare.
Earlier, SDCH Thunders won the toss and elected to bat first, they lost their first wicket in Baralay in the first over but their skipper, Bumb, had other plans as he was hitting every bowler to the boundary. R Palande and Sohan Chaudhary did not contributed much to the total and went just before the end of fifth over, but Bumb was still there on the crease. Ingole lift their spirits up by scoring a quickfire 20 which had three boundaries, Bumb was the top scorer of innings with 39 runs. In the bowling, GMC used eight bowling options to complete ten overs, in fact there was one over which was bowled by three different bowlers. Badade was best of the bowlers, his figures read 2-0-18-2.
