Royal Cricket Academy has been one of the reputed names when it comes to cricket institutes in Ahmedabad, and now it has again come with a new ground which is located in Gatrad. It will provide all round training to the students aged between 5 and above. The new ground provides the following facilities :
1) Turf wickets 2) Astro turf wickets 3) Cement wickets 4) 70 METER BOUNDARIES ground 5) Bowling machine for batting practice
The ground also has a separate academy area for the training and practice of students. Apart from this, physical training is also provided to the students.
Mr. Rahul is the head coach in the ground who will be supervising all the procedures including giving hand to hand training to the young lads. He has played for Gujarat and has 13 years valuable experience in playing and more than 2 years of experience as a coach.
Royal Cricket Academy has already blessed Gujarat Cricket Association with three state players that too in a span of single year, they are :
1) Harsh Thakkar (GUJ U-16) 2) Anushka Rajput (GUJ U-19,U-23 Girl) 3) Jay Solanki (GUJ U-14)
Apart from these achievements, out of 100 students in the academy, 7 players have represented 7 states of Gujarat in the past two years. The academy gives opportunity to both boys and girls and age group is also wide so it also gives an opportunity to many of the youngsters who aspire to represent India at the highest level.
The inauguration of the academy is on 2nd Feb.2020 and Mr. Pradip Sinh Jadeja will be the chief guest for the auspicious occasion.
