Juniors Champions Trophy Season 3 was organized between 30th Oct.’17 - 3rd Nov.’17 at Delhi.
Out of 9 participant teams from various states, the final was played between Punjab Nag Kings and Gujarat Unicorns on 3rd Nov.’17 at Ishta, Nashik.
Punjab Nag Kings won the toss and elected to bat. Team didn’t get a good start and started to fumble from early overs. They ended up scoring 74 runs in 13.1 overs after losing 9 wickets. Highest scorer was Jai Rathi, who scored 21 runs in 22 balls. Hardik from Gujarat Unicorns bowled exceptionally well as he took 3 wickets in 1 over.
While replying, Gujarat Unicorns started well with both opening batsmen Hritik (19) and Henish Parmar (18) scoring at a good pace. Team managed to achieve the target in just 8.3 overs after losing 3 wickets.
Gujarat Unicorns won the final of Junior Champions Trophy Season 3 against Punjab Nag Kings by 7 wickets.
Player of the match was Henish Parmar from Gujarat Unicorns.
