Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation won by a narrow margin against Dena Bank in the Dena Bank T/20 Invitation Cricket Tournament on Saturday. Batting first AMC posted 141 runs in the stipulated 20 overs at the Sardar Patel Stadium. Prakash Valundra scored 35 runs in 25 balls and was well supported by Jaymeen Thakkar and Mahendra Vaghela, who scored a quick fire 33 and 29 respectively. Jayveersinh Parmar was the pick of the bowlers for Dena Bank scalping 3 for 13. However, the bank men didn’t have enough steam to cross the finish line as they faltered to 140 for 7 in 20 overs. Smit Patel scored for Dena Bank with 41of 32 balls followed by Kshitij Patek who made 36 of 32 balls. Jaymeen Thakkar was back in action and picked up one wicket and conceded 13 runs.
