Florance Academy 94/10 in 38.1 overs (Shaurya 27, Paarth 12, Rishabh 3/22) defeated Rotary Public School 68/10 (Mohd Kaif 13, Moksh 11, Hardik 4/13) by 26 runs

The Young Titans cup was full of low scoring games, to an extent that only two teams could go pass 200  in 40 overs throughout the tournament. One of those teams was Rotary Public School who scored 203 against Gurukul Academy in the league phase. So what do you expect them to do when they are chasing 94 against a team they have defeated in the league stage by a decent margin? Well, a normal cricket fan would expect them to gun down the target without much effort.

We are talking about the final of Young Titans Cup where Florance Academy pulled out a heist by rolling RPS for 68 in response to their 94 in the first inning. The tournament was contested between 8 teams which were split across two groups. Rotary Public School dominated Group B and the semifinal to some extent as well. On the other hand, Florance lost just one game throughout the tournament and that was? Yeap, against RPS.

So since the arch-rivals were going head to head, we were expected to have a great day out in the finals. RPS won the toss on the morning of the final and elected to field first. Florance lost Vansh and Udit early for 4 and 7 respectively. The pair of Shaurya and Paarth led the team from there and they stitched down 48 for the third wicket.

It was the 20th over where Paarth was cleaned up by Rishabh for 12. Shaurya departed soon via a disastrous runout and that was the end. The rest of the Florance batsmen could not stand the heat and in no time they were bundled out for 94. Rishabh finished with 3 wickets in his spell of 8 overs for 22. Aaryan and Moks shared 2 wickets each.

Florance pushed the RPS batsmen against the wall from the beginning. They nipped out Imad (2) and Goran (8) early. Kaif (13) departed soon but RPS received nastiest of blow at the score of 43 when Shaurya got one past the defense of Moksh, their leading batsman of the tournament. Moksh managed to score 11 of 18 and his wicket was the beginning of a disaster for RPS. Post the departure of Moksh, none of the RPS batsmen could stand their ground and in no time they were 7 down for 49. Some fight from Rishabh and Yash bought their hopes alive for a moment but as soon as Rishabh departed to a terrible runout, RPS submitted. The pair of Shaurya Bhatia and Hardik destroyed RPS batting lineup and they finished with the figures of 3/23 and 4/13 respectively.
