He added another 67 runs with Ekansh and led the team past 150. Ekansh was dismissed in the 18th over after scoring a magnificent 57 off 49 balls. He allowed other batsmen to bat around him as he built the inning. Tarun finished with the figures of 4-0-33-3 as Team Inquest piled on 171 in their quota of 20 overs.
The second inning was a complete one man show. Tarun added 40 with Nik (7), 46 with Saurabh (17), 28 with Tanuj (6). Apart from these partnerships, he stitched down a couple of small partnerships with Jasvinder (0) and Daman (19) too. All these partnerships were heavily dominated by Tarun. Rana got out in the 14th over but the job was almost done by then. Bhutani Impex needed only 28 at that point in time with plenty of deliveries in the bag.
