Dental Premier League 2017 was played between 15th Oct.’17 to 29th Oct.’17 at Jammu.
Out of 12 teams from various sections of Jammu Dental College, the final was played between Administration GDC and Pre Final GMC on 29th Oct.’17 at IGGDC Ground, Jammu.
Pre Final GMC won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Administration GDC played a wonderful innings. All the players scored at good pace and closed at a good score of 129 runs at the end of 10 overs by losing 6 wickets. Qaisar Ali was the highest scorer, who made 63 runs in 23 balls by hitting 1 four and 8 sixes. Pick of the bowlers was Palash Sawhney from Pre Final GMC, who took 2 wickets in 3 overs.
While replying, Pre Final GMC got a very good start with opening batsman Sawan (c) scoring steadily at an excellent pace. He smashed 92 runs in just 31 balls by hitting 6 fours and 8 sixes, which steered team towards victory. Pre Final GMC scored 130 runs in 9.2 overs after losing 4 wickets.
Pre Final GMC won the final by 3 wickets against Administration GDC in Dental Premier League 2017.
Player of the match was Sawan from Pre Final GMC.
