Saurashtra Cricket Tournament (MB) 2017 was organized between 10th Oct’17 to 25th Oct’17 at Rajkot.
Out of 13 participant teams, the final was played between Swag Squard (SCT) and Drive In Cricket (SCT) on 25th Oct’17 at Raj Samadhiyala Cricket Ground, Rajkot.
Swag Squad (SCT) won the toss and elected to bat. Opening batsman Balkrishna Patel (wk) gave a good start by scoring 33 runs in 36 balls. However, team started to lose wickets at regular interval and ended up scoring 118 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Prithvi Solanki from Drive In Cricket (SCT), who took 2 wickets in 2 overs.
While chasing the score of 119 runs, Drive In Cricket (SCT) too had some early losses. But stable partnership between Abhel K and Shahil, who have scored 46 and 52 runs respectively at a good pace took team towards the final win. Drive In Cricket (SCT) managed to achieve the target in 14 overs by losing 4 wickets.
Drive In Cricket (SCT) won the final of Saurashtra Cricket Tournament (MB) 2017 against Swag Squard (SCT) by 6 wickets.
