Joganandji Premier League (JPL-2) was played between 21st Oct’17 to 25th Oct’17 at Sindari.
The final of this tournament is played between two promising teams - S.S. Tiger (S.K.D.) and Sodha Super Kings on 25th Oct’17 at Cricket Ground S.K.D. -Sindari.
S.S. Tiger (S.K.D.) won the toss and elected to bat. Team got a wonderful start with both the opening batsmen Chhotu Singh and Krishna Pal Singh (k.p) (wk) scoring at a good pace. Almost all the players contributed well and team reached to a good score of 127 runs at the end of 12 overs by losing 7 wickets. Highest scorer was Jitendra Singh Kotda, who scored 46 runs in 21 ball with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Dileep Singh from Sodha Super Kings bowled well and took 2 wickets in 1 over by giving only 1 run.
On the other hand, while chasing the target of 128 runs Sodha Super Kings did not get a good start. Team started to lose wickets from early overs. Jitendra Singh Kotda from S.S. Tiger (S.K.D.) shined again with his outstanding bowling performance as he took 5 wickets in just 2.5 overs and shattered the entire batting line up of Sodha Super Kings. Team bundled up in 9.5 overs by scoring 47 runs.
S.S. Tiger (S.K.D.) won the final of Jaganandji Premier League (JPL- 2) with huge margin of 80 runs.
