Gousia Sports Club tournament was organized at National High School Ground, Murudeshwara between 19th Oct’17 to 25th Oct’17.
The final of Gousia Sports Club is played between two promising teams of the tournament - Al Wafa Murudeshwara and Manki RSA on 25th Oct’17.
Manki RSA won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Al Wafa Murudeshwara got a good start. Team played a good innings with all the players contributing well in the final score. Highest scorers were Usama Gowda and Abdul Wahid Hajeeb, who have scored 31 and 22 runs respectively at a good pace. Al Wafa Murudeshwara ended at a good score of 137 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing all the wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Abdul Razzaq from Manki RSA, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
Though the target was not very easy to achieve, Manki RSA defended well by playing a wonderful innings. Almost all players scored at a very good pace and managed to reach at 138 runs in 18 overs after losing 6 wickets. Highest scorers were Numair Sawda and Mohammed Zaid with 37 and 28 runs respectively. Usama Gowda from Al Wafa Murudeshwara bowled extremely well and took 4 wickets in 4 overs by giving 19 runs.
Manki RSA won the final by 4 wickets against Al Wafa Murudeshwara.
Player of the match was Abdul Razzaq from Manki RSA.
