City Police fought valiantly taking the contest against Millennium CC to the super over defending 173; however, Millennium held their nerves well to register a hard fought win in the Pre-season T-20 Cricket Tournament at Maninagar railway ground. Winning the toss City Police decided to bat and scored a competitive 173 runs. Nirbhay Bhunetar was the highest getter with 55 runs in 39 balls while his teammate Urvish Mehta scored 31 runs in 22 balls. Nilesh Chauhan and Manish Sharma of Millennium scalped 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Returning with the bat, Millennium boys tied the match having scored the same as City Police. Nishant Panchal showed up with a brilliant knock of 65 runs in 48 balls while Darshil Patel scored 25 runs in 18 balls. Urvish Mehta and Deepak Pal of police took 2 wickets each. However the match was awarded to Millennium after the super over.
