Dangiyawas 234/9 in 15 overs (Kishan 99, Pappu 25, Mahendra 3/26) defeated Aajad Club Bhagtasani 66/10 in 10.4 overs (Rajesh 19, Mahendra 12, Chena 4/13) by 168 runs
Fitkasani Cricket League 2019 concluded with Dangiyawas crushing ACB by 168 runs thanks to the individual brilliance of Kishan (99 off 30) and Chena Ram 4/13 in 2.4 overs. The week long tournament ended with one of the most one sided games ever in the history of the tournament.
Boasting off a talent like Kishan Joshi, Dangiyawas won the toss and elected to bat first. They piled on 234 in their quota of 15 overs with half of them coming from the bat of Kishan. He targeted the leg side to an extent that 90 out of his 99 runs came in that area only and if you dig further, 66 of them came only through the square leg. His sweep and scoop shoots looked unmatchable. A strike rate of 330, 14 sixes and 4 fours are the evidence of his brutality which ACB bowlers had to go through.
In an inning where 96.97% of his runs came off boundaries, Kishan played 10 dot balls with three singles. It was his inning that threw ACB out of the final, even before the first inning came to an end. ACB tried 8 different bowlers but they suffered same fate with Mohabbat suffering most as Kishan smoked him for 34 off an over.
The second inning got on the way with ACB chasing a target of 235 off 90 balls. They needed a magical performance from at least three of their top order batsmen but unfortunately it was not their day. Forget about chasing the target, they fell 33 short of Kishan’s score alone. Jangid removed their openers in the second over but it was Chena Ram who did most of the damage with his clever variations. The disaster that began for ACB in the second over of Dangiyawas inning where Mohabbat got smashed for 34, concluded with their skipper Javrilal being stumped by Ashok in the 11th over of second inning.
